Once in a while out in the Gulfstream off Key West the gods are smiling on you, and you get to experience something beautiful.
This was one of those days.
A pod of porpoises (I estimate approximately 50) began to follow our boat and bow-ride playfully, allowing us mere mortals to glimpse some of natures finest work.
For almost 15 minutes these playful creatures jumped and splashed. Two mothers came buy to show off their babies. It seemed like a family outing.
