Every year about this time all the neighbors and friends get out the lights and decorate their "sleighs". In Florida however we do things a little different. In Key West we do things REALLY different.
The annual Lighted Boat Parade is one of those Key West Kool events that helps get everyone in the Holiday spirit. We get out our folding chairs and park on the sea wall at Mallory Square with some good friends and a few beverages and enjoy the spectacle of the Holiday Season -- Key West style.
The more lights the better. One Boat had a rocking band on deck, there's always a few Santa's and more than a few of his helpers in all forms of attire.
