When siting them in the Gulfstream every fisherman is on high alert. Lines can start singing, fish can start jumping. The Frigatebird is a friendly site.
The frigate will sometimes stop circling and fly off in a straight line. This is a good time to pick up lines and follow the frigate bird. Watch the surface under the frigate bird and you may see some weeds or other floating objects with smaller birds called terns working the surface.
